Terms & Conditions
Clear prices, permission before work and fair treatment if something goes wrong. These terms apply to personal-use repair enquiries and bookings with Haider’s Mobile Repairs.
1. Enquiries and bookings
Preparing an enquiry on this website does not book a repair or take payment. A booking is confirmed only when we agree the device, work, price and appointment with you. Your service provider is JARROW MOBILE AND VAPES LTD (company number 17404543), trading as Haider’s Mobile Repairs. Our registered office is 38 Collingwood Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, England, NE1 1JE. Contact us on 07470 472221 by phone or WhatsApp, or email haidersmobilerepair@gmail.com. We will provide your booking details and agreed terms in a format you can keep before you are bound.
2. Prices and approval
Displayed fitted prices include the stated replacement part and fitting, including any applicable taxes. Home-visit charges are separate and must be agreed before booking. Laptop repairs, fault diagnosis and unpriced options require an individual quote. If inspection reveals a different fault, unavailable part or extra work, we will explain the revised price and obtain your approval before proceeding. We will not increase an accepted price without your agreement.
3. Diagnosis and unsuccessful repairs
Any diagnostic, assessment or call-out fee must be clearly agreed in advance, including whether it is payable if you decline a repair or the device cannot be repaired. There is no automatic diagnostic fee and no blanket “no fix, no fee” promise. You pay only charges you have agreed and which are lawfully due. Water damage and intermittent faults may require assessment and may not have a reliable repair outcome; we will explain known limitations before you authorise work.
4. Replacement parts and results
Your quote identifies the selected part quality. Compatible, genuine service-pack and genuine pulled parts are different; genuine pulled means a used original component. Images are illustrative. Availability and exact model compatibility are checked before booking. We will explain known effects on features such as calibration, Face ID, manufacturer messages or water resistance before work. Opening a sealed device can affect its original water resistance; we do not promise restoration of a factory rating unless expressly agreed and verified.
5. Your device and data
Please disclose liquid damage, previous repairs and other known faults, back up your data where possible, and remove unnecessary SIM cards and accessories. Some resets, restores and board repairs can erase data; we will obtain your permission before an intentional reset or data-erasing procedure. A backup recommendation does not excuse us from using reasonable care or remove liability for losses caused by our failure to do so. Do not send your Apple, Google, banking or email passwords through the enquiry form. Where testing needs access, we will agree the minimum necessary access with you.
6. Password resets and software support
Password and account-lock services are available only for devices you own or are authorised to manage. Evidence of ownership may be requested. Support depends on the exact model and lock type; a listed assessment or bypass service is not a promise that every lock can be removed. An iTunes/computer restore does not remove Activation Lock. Malware and unwanted-ad removal cannot guarantee protection against every future threat.
7. Home visits, timing and payment
Visits cover Middlesbrough to Newcastle, subject to postcode, parts and appointment availability. Please provide a safe, suitable work area. Turnaround estimates are not guarantees unless we expressly agree a deadline. We will tell you about material delays and discuss alternatives. Cash is accepted on completion; any other payment method or deposit must be agreed beforehand. A receipt will identify the work and charges. No deposit is automatically non-refundable.
8. Cancelling or rearranging
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange. For a service contract agreed online, by phone or at your home, you normally have 14 days starting the day after the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason. If the contract is for goods as well as services, the applicable cancellation period may run from delivery of the goods; we will explain the relevant right before you book. This policy does not shorten a longer statutory period.
We will not start during a cancellation period unless you expressly ask us to. For a home booking, that request will be recorded in a form you can keep. If you then cancel after work has started, a proportionate charge for work supplied may be payable only where the legal requirements have been met. For services, the cancellation right ends on full performance only if you requested early performance and acknowledged in advance that the right would end then. Sending an enquiry or accepting these terms alone is not an early-start request.
To cancel, send a clear message through the contact channel used to confirm your booking, email haidersmobilerepair@gmail.com, contact 07470 472221 by phone or WhatsApp, or write to JARROW MOBILE AND VAPES LTD at our registered office shown below. You can use the optional form below, but you do not have to. Refunds due following cancellation will be made without undue delay and within the applicable legal deadline, normally within 14 days of notification for services, using the original payment method unless agreed otherwise and without a refund fee. Outside statutory cancellation rights, any charge must reflect a fair, evidenced loss, take account of savings and not be an automatic penalty. Ordinary replacement parts are not automatically exempt from cancellation merely because they were ordered for your repair.
9. Repair problems and warranties
Our work must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. Supplied parts must meet the standards required by consumer law. If something is wrong, contact us with your repair details so we can assess it. Where the law requires it, remedies may include repeat performance, repair, replacement, a price reduction or refund, without an improper extra charge.
Any additional commercial warranty, its duration and covered parts will be given in your written quote or receipt before you agree. No fixed additional warranty period is advertised here. Normal wear, new accidental damage or liquid damage may fall outside an additional warranty where they caused the fault; they do not automatically remove rights relating to defective parts or poor workmanship. Your statutory rights are not limited to an advertised warranty period.
10. Responsibility and complaints
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything the law does not allow us to exclude. Existing faults will be discussed where relevant; these terms do not make you responsible for damage we cause.
Raise a complaint through the contact channel used for your booking, explaining the repair and the outcome you want. We aim to acknowledge it within two working days and provide a substantive response within 14 days, or explain when further investigation is needed. If unresolved, we will provide information about relevant dispute-resolution options and whether we will participate. You can also seek advice from Citizens Advice. Your right to use the courts is unaffected.
11. Your rights and changes
Nothing here takes away mandatory consumer rights. English law applies, subject to any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction. The terms agreed when your booking is confirmed apply to that booking; later website changes do not retrospectively change it.
